Anchors and Sails Visitor Review:
I created a program to gently introduce my four kids, as preschoolers, to reading and math. I eventually created lessons for them in history, science, creative writing and we ‘did books’ 5-10 minutes a day every morning individually, after breakfast.
I have put the programs into binders and have them in my garage since I used them all through their grades 1-9 as add-ons to whatever the official curriculum was. I gave them a start ahead of the regular curriculum and then I gave them a supplementary, or new way to look at things too.
I can share with you the early reading strategy because it is in workbook form and I put it up on Youtube for free.
As a school teacher myself, being home with my kids was just another style of teaching, smaller class one on one, but it was so much fun to see how smart little kids are and how they understand the world.

My course is called Anchors and Sails and articles about this method can be found by a Google search.
This homeschool program is for those who want to provide a really fun early intro to school.
My name is Bev Jaremko. I am in Canada but two of my grandkids were born in Cincinnati.
I developed the program years ago when my kids were 3-5. I have been helping other parents teach their kids for about 20 years now. My own kids are now a magazine editor, two lawyers and a doctor.
