Visitor Review:
Can’t tell you how good the curriculum is…NEVER MADE IT THAT FAR! Got all the requested paper work in, did the approval call, was told that within a week we would get student id and NOT to send kids to reg school on the first day, as we would be approved soon! A week goes by and I am still getting emails about turning in paper work. Get a diff email stating not to worry about the children falling behind, they could easily catch up. Call k12 and am told to be patient, they are behind on enrollment. Second week into reg school and I call again. I am told someone “dropped the ball” and could I please hold while she handles it and “fast tracks” us. Third week into reg school and get a VERY rude man who tells me k12 is waiting on the assigned school to approve my kids. Ok, how long will that take? My kids are 3 weeks behind and missing school! K12 doesn’t know how long it could take, they could take forever! and my kids SHOULD BE IN REG SCHOOL!!!! I must have been mis-informed. PRETTY BIG MISTAKE! Ok, will you give me the assigned schools contact info so that we can get them in ASAP? So I can call and see what the hold up is? Make sure they haven’t made a mistake like K12 and “dropped the ball?” Rude man tells me there is no record of that call where the lady “fast tracked” me. Now I’m a liar huh. And K12 does not have our assigned schools contact info. HUH? You don’t? Someone tell me how that works. Needless to say K12 has left me nothing but wasted time and 4 weeks of missed school for my kids. I am pulling my children from public schools all together and doing time4learning and workbook curriculum. Beware and stay on top of K12 if you do try them. Also read their fb K12 parents page before you try. After reading those comments I am relieved not to have been approved in a timely manner.
