Visitor Review:
I have been using Tapestry for 5 years now…and I love it even more now than when I chose to start it then. Here are my top three things that I love:
1. All my kids are studying the same time period at the same time (from 8th grade to preschool).
2. Tapestry offers many ideas for activities and projects for any age as well as folding in philosophy, government, or fine art electives at the high school level.
3. My kids are learning to think critically through their reading of “real” books, answering both accountability questions (facts) and thinking questions, and participating in Socratic discussion with our co-op (though you don’t need a co-op to hold a good discussion).
And I almost forgot:
Because I purchased the DE version the first time around, now I just update to the current version of the year-plan I’m on and borrow/purchase the next level of books. No need to buy a separate curriculum plan as my children grow! Which will be great considering that I started with Tapestry in 2009 and will be using it until 2027!
