Horizons Phonics Visitor Review:
I used Horizons Phonics with my older son when he was in first grade. He hated it so much we stopped using it around Christmas. I kept the book in case I wanted to use it with my younger son but so far we haven’t. I think my son found the repetition tedious. It just didn’t work for us. I used Explode the Code with my younger son and he loved it. I do like Horizons Math where I think the repetition is helpful.
