If you’re the type of person who is always on the lookout for something new, this could be a nice resource to add to your homeschooling collection. It’s an interactive anatomy book that will be released in March 2018. I created a short video about it here:
I explain about kickstarter campaigns in the video – what’s cool is you have the opportunity to bring something new into your home and support others who are creating innovative products while exploring different ways to teach your homeschoolers.
What I like about this product is I was looking for a way to explain more about anatomy to my child. I wanted to go beyond a book, but wasn’t excited about buying a skeleton and a bunch of other “parts” that can get lost around the house. The people who created this appear to have found a good mesh of using technology to give us more insights than a book could while having an attractive book that can stand on its own.
I decided to support the project with a small contribution. I’m excited to see the book at our house when it comes to market sometime around March 2018. I have a way of forgetting about these purchases; they are a nice surprise when they show up at your door!
Note: there is a small risk that the project won’t happen. This is a fundraising campaign to get it going. There’s also a small risk that the product won’t come out exactly as described in the campaign. That’s part of the excitement of trying a new product and seeing what you get! It’s a way to encourage innovation among your kids as you explain how you came across it and then decide to see what other people are creating and asking others to fund.
You can find the kickstarter campaign here.
